J. John Lee is the Chief Counsel for Intellectual Property of the House Judiciary Committee, where he is the principal advisor on IP and AI issues. Prior to joining Congress, he heard and decided hundreds of cases as a judge on the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He has also been a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and served as a law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
