Passengers tap any gate or shop on its 32:9 touchscreen, sit down, and the vehicle travels faster than walking speed. Cameras and LiDAR watch for people and stop linq within 1.2 seconds if someone steps ahead. An 8-inch low floor and 31-inch wide doorway make boarding easier for people with reduced mobility, strollers, and luggage. When the battery runs low, linq automatically returns to a wireless floor charger. It supports 4 kW charging pads, and takes about 90 minutes for a full charge. Operators can quickly set up the service, as linq builds its own map while it drives; no beacons, rails, or QR codes are needed.
